Best Place to see a Band. Lupos is located in the historic Strand theater in downtown Providence. The space is huge and pretty plush. Although drinks can be a little expensive, the sound is great and the staff is usually very friendly and there's a fun vibe to the place. There are also so many restaurants and bars in the neighborhood for before or after a show, so just park and then walk around!

This club might be the coolest spot to catch national acts in Providence.. In Short
This midsize venue hosts major national acts swinging through town. Over the years, audiences have gotten funky with James Brown, slam danced to the Violent Femmes and grooved with De La Soul. Bartenders mix up cocktails or pull pints from the dozen or so beers on tap.

A Concert Place. This place is a great venue to see a show. The venue is big enogh to have a lot of people but small enough not to feel like your a mile from the stage. With a balcony and open floor you can see the stage from anywhere. THe price of tickets here is a lot cheaper than most other places. I would see a concert here anytime.
