Where did they go?. I found out about this place a year ago when I rented a costume from 'Bruna Costumes' who was across the street. When I went to Bruna's this year, the restaurant was gone. I ask Bruna and she said they had a fire. OK so are they going to open again. Does anyone know.? The food was great and so was the atmosphere

Wonderful Experience. Stepping into La Moia, I felt as though I was transported into a different region of the world. It's rustic european setting allows you to pretend you are in a metropolitan Spanish region. The staff was cordial and fairly efficient - though I believe they were having a bad night on the evening we went.

The food was exceptional - all fresh with original recipes of uniquely prepared foods. We couldn't decide what to order!

Having enjoyed many versions of Sangria, we were not thoroughly impressed with La Moia's as it seemed to lack a bit of originality, but it wasn't bad.

Unique Experience!!!. My husband and I ate dinner at La Moia Tapas In December 2004. What an atmosphere! The place was full of happy people enjoying amazing food. It was great to taste a few different dishes and share them instead of only having to decide on one meal. The staff was very attentive, and plesant. The decor makes you feel like you are some place else. It felt like we could just relax and actually enjoy a wonderfully prepared meal, we were not rushed at all. They had a vast wine selection and the prices of everything on the menu were great for the portions that you get. We liked it so much, that we went back two nights later!

IF YOU LIKE VARIETY. My husband I enjoy assortment so considered trying La Moia again. We had visited the establishment a year ago and couldn't really remember how it was. The food was good quality and they had a wine tasting called flight to Spain for 10$ in which you had the opportunity to try 3 different wines. Our meal was good and we split 3 Tapas.

I am a Johnson and Whales Pastry student so with dessert I'm a bit selective. I had read about La Moias

"Fried Twinkies" and my husband and I were a curious to try them. I was NOT impressed. They tasted like a soggy donut. I expected some kind of crispness.. but none. Not a dessert I would recommend. Overall our meal was pleasing and for the $ its a deal. The bill for food, drinks, and dessert with espresso and port was only $75.00.
