Would not go back to them. Unfortunately, cannot recommend this dentist. Tried him a couple of times because it was convenient in downtown Providence. First experience a while ago (checkup, cleaning) was OK but not outstanding, and fees seemed higher that average. Went back again (there's that convenience factor) and service was not good second time around. The cleaning seemed superficial. Staff was impersonal, mechanical and uncaring. Cost definitely seemed much above average for a routine visit and even though insurance covered most all of it except for deductible and co-pay, they insisted on being paid anyway (so much for being a participating provider), with the result being an overpayment (confirmed with the insurance company) to them which they haven't refunded. Something else to consider is their policy to charge a cancellation fee unless they get at least 24 hours notice before the cancellation of a scheduled appointment. In early 2008 the NY Times ran an article critical of the many dentists who treat their work primarily as a business and not as medical care medical professionals and providers; it could have been a description of Dent Plus.
