hands down best colorist in new england!. I have seen some of the top colorists in new york, and I must say ,this woman gives them a run for their money! Tammy ,I tip my hat to you! Wonderful staff and I love Tammy's assistant Sia, she made me feel very welcome.I wish I could take her home, between the shampoo & blowdry it was like put me in a casket, I'm in heaven.Thank you again both for top notch service!!!

moss is fabulous. I moved to Providence this year from Manhatten where I visited salons such as Rita Hazen and Frederic F. I thought I'd experienced the best until I visited Moss salon. My appointment was with Jody for a haircut and a Keratin treatment. Well he was amazing and I look and feel like a goddess!!!! He spent one hour cutting my hair and which know one has ever done. My keratin treatment has transformed my hair to look like silk. The salon and staff are tremendous and I will be back.

Unsatisfactory service--promises 100% satisfaction. I spent $250 on a hair straightening treatment that ruined my hair irreparably. Complained to stylist who did it and he offered no support and did not want to refund my money. Their website says 100% satisfaction but it is a lie. Do not ever go to Jody who works there. He's a liar, he's unethical, and even though I gave him a $50 tip and have been a loyal customer for years, he did not offer to refund, repair, or do anything supportive. My hair is ruined and I have no choice but to cut it all off. Never go to Moss Salon.

Even More Beautiful on the Inside. My experience at Moss Salon was quite the opposite of the review listed. I recently had my first appoinment there and my expectations were far surpassed. As you walk in there is a great energy in the air! My service was outstanding, a choice of herbal teas and mini bottled water followed by an employee offering to hang my coat. I was greeted by my stylist who took me in and began discussing with me where I wanted to see my hair when we were finished. 1hour later, Poof!, I was transformed from dull to delicious!! About a week later I called to make an appointment just for a blow-out and I didn't get my stylist, so I took some one else, it turned out fabulous! It's nice to know you can go to a hair salon and have a different person work on you and feel totally comfortable.

Very snotty. The first time I went to Moss was for an eyebrow wax and ended up with one less eyebrow. The girl performing the waxing didn't tell me she made an error and I didn't realize it until I got home. When I returned to get a refund and the gratuity back, the front desk attendants weren't very sympathic nor did they care that I was devistated. They basically just snickered and told me to buy some brown eyeliner.

I figured it was an isolated incident and tried to go back for a hair cut to give the salon a 2nd shot. My appointment was cancelled twice and in both cases no one ever follow up to try and book another appointment. Either this place already is fully booked and they don't need new clients, or the staff at Moss is just plain rude.
