...one of the worst kept secrets.
This is the sort of place...that you dont want to go to for anything.
Drinks: ... well for the week after July 4th - one might expect at least a good variety. Out of the 7 beers on tap - 2 were not there (Budlight and Coors light), Stella was apparently not there either and Sienna or something was a different one. ... They did have blue moon and about 1 other from the menu.
Food: was subpar when talking about a $15 plate. Things looked to just be fried and thrown together, even the pastas. Kids options are very limited and not very good either.
Service: ... What service? Waited a long time to get the kids drinks taken, and then even longer for them to arrive. We were tempted to leave due to the amount of time it took. And I had to go and ask them for more drinks (No refills were offered the entire time) as well as the check.
Do not waste your time on this establishment. Not even for drinks.
Great nightlife, horrible food and service. My experience here lead me to think that this is not really a go-out-to-eat type of place. A friend and I were out on a fun girls night adventure, and we stopped in to Rhino Bar for apps and drinks. The drinks were ok, what you would normally expect from a bar, nothing outstanding. We ordered nachos and asked for the guac and sour cream on the side. I didnt think this would be a huge undertaking since we were 2 of about 5 total people in the whole place (on a friday night, no less - when other places up and down the street had lines out the door) The nachos came with a gigantic pile of guac and sour cream on them and the waitress sort of apologized, apparently there was a "communication issue" with the cook, but asked if we wanted a spoon to spoon off the guac and sour cream. Spoon off the sour cream?!?!?!? Appalling. That was the end of that! Since we are very forgiving people, we did end up coming back later on when there was live music, and it seemed like if you were going here for a bachelorette party or to get really drunk you would leave satisfied. In a city full of world-class dining, if you are looking for anything edible or not containing alcohol, keep moving to some of the more upscale places.
