What happens to Mexican food when it is cooked by Gringos. I have to say just short of Taco Bell this is the worst Mexican food I have ever had. Glad I bought a discounted gift certificate from the radio station, would have been very upset if I paid full price.

I will drive to Taunton from now on to go to ElMariachi on the Green. They are the best in the area (so far).

Great Mexican Food On The East Coast Is Rare - Fact!. I lived in California for 7 yrs & lived with a Mexican American woman in a Chicano section of Sacramento. The best meals I had ( outside of eating in a household where the primary spoken lanquage was Spanish ) were in tiny family run restaurants. I have yet to see this East of the Mississippi. I meet a friend of 30+ yrs maybe once a year for lunch at Tito's because he lived in California also in Alameda & misses the Mexican food. I have had some good food here but it is not consistant. I've also had some food here that was so bad it was pathetic. I believe the owner is Portaguese so that doesn't help unless your Emeril Lagasse. Even then, I'd prefer someone cooking that grew up "South of the Border". Bottom line - This place is a Crapshoot & the odds are always against the Gambler. Ciao, B.

Editorial Review by Christy Buena. Restaurant serves authentic Mexican cuisine including tacos, burritos and fajitas while offering margaritas and catering.

Mexician with a New England style. I love this oaisis in the desert of same same mexician style restaurants it is truely unique. It has put my two favorites together mexician and seafood with style and origininality . The Fish Taco is my favorite. The Body Builter Burrito is good also . The salsa is fresh with fresh tomatoes. The food seems to be taster , lighter and more healthful than traditional mexician but than there are the Margaritas' that are the best in the state, so be warned!!

Doesn't taste like Mexican to me. I visited this restaurant only once, but once was more than enough. I admit I lived in California for 16 years so I'm a bit of a mexican food snob, but the food my family of 4 ordered didn't even remotely taste mexican to us. Only one person could even complete their meal.

The atmosphere was very nice, and the place was crowded do obviously others like it, but for us, we won't be back.
