I give this salon a five star rating. All the ladies are very pleasant and helpful. Stephanie has been doing my hair for 4 years and have been nothing extremely satisfied. Everywhere I go strangers complement my cut and color. I even have people ask to take picture! Nothing makes me happier than referring someone to her and her salon. At the end of the day you need to set aside what others say and in out yourself. If you go to Stephanie, I promise you will overwhelmed with excitement. She listens and loves pictures references.

Mary is phenominal. She did ombre' on me and i've never been happier with the color of my hair. I've a very picky client and it was nice to have someone really sit down with me and take the time to understand my style. I would recommend this salon to everyone!

I'll definitely be back a few weeks.

I can't believe some of the reviews on here. I have been going to New Leaf for a couple years. Every visit I am always 110% happy. The people are always nice and accommodating. Stephanie cuts my hair and I always love what she does. A+ in my book!

Best in Rhode Island!. I am quite surprised at the other reviews posted here because I have had nothing but wonderful experiences at New Leaf. I moved to Providence from Philly 3 years ago and it took just about that to find a perfect cut. I am so happy to have found Pam at New Leaf. I found her by trying the salon in preparation for my wedding at Linden Place in Bristol. She styled my hair perfect the first time! Unbelievable - and I have to say I am super picky with my hair. Hair is more important than clothing to me and Pam get its perfect every time. Since then I have had two haircut and both have been right on! She fixed other mistakes in one cut and styles it just like I like every time. I have to say also that the make up artists Danielle and Nicole are beyond words as well. I had a make up trial with them and again right on first time. They have wonderful technique - no sloppy liquid liner (you know what I'm talking about), and they are just all around wonderful women to be around. New Leaf makes me feel beautiful every time I go! I love the laid back environment and cool music. Everyone must go to New Leaf!

Guys... Don't let your wife anywhere near this place.... I'd give the place zero stars if it was possible.

My wife went on Friday for a simple trim and came back home pissed because her haircut was uneven. When she called back to ask them to fix it there were no appointments available with the original offender. Call #2 netted a same-day appointment with another stylist, but the end result was not ideal either. Now my wife feels boxed in with a bad hair cut and that doesn't bode well for anyone.

They may have a New York or Big Apple state of mind, but someone needs to remind them that Bristol aint the Big Apple (if they were really that talented and desirable in NYC, what the hay are they doing hiding out in Bristol anyway?)

Front desk staff is great, but the attitude needs an old fashioned adjustment.

HUGE disappointment. I went to New Leaf before Roger Williams commencement ball and i have never been so disappointed in a hair style. Not only did I show up with a picture, but the woman did everything the opposite of what I asked her to do. When I asked her to fix it, she said she couldn't that her next client was there (who happened to be 40 minutes early.) My friend's hair come out fabulous so it is not the salon in general but stay away from Stephanie. She was impolite and did not do anything that I asked her to do. Not worth $70 to be kicked out unsatisfied.

Lucky me!!... a great fine. Last Friday, I was in Bristol, for my son's graduation. Wanted a haircut and manicure.The hotel suggested calling New Leaf Hair Studio, The receptionist was so friendly and helpful. She scheduled me with two great people. Even receive a complimentary make-up service. Felt great and looked super. Thanks, New Leaf for such wonderful service!!!!!

WOW!!! horrible salon. firstly i got a huge additude at the front desk. not great first impression. and then i sat and waited for my stylist for about 20 minutes. finally got my shampoo which was awesome...then my haircut was NOT what i asked for. overall i would never go there again. and wont reccomend anyone.

eeeee. nice ppl but staff needs WAY more education. The place is trendy looking and nice to go to being so close but its not worth it. The staff needs to get educated more, especially with me having half my eyebrow taken off. its horrible. and my hair experience in the past have turned out pretty bad too. unfortunate since the people are sweet, but not worth messing up your look when you make the effort of going to a salon to have someone else do things for you.
