It started with a web search. My family is getting ready for a vacation and I decided I needed a new look before I went. Fed up with the overly-trendy far too expensive place I'd been going, I wanted a salon that had a friendlier feel, friendlier prices but was also mainstream. So I checked Google to see what I could find. I admit when I stumbled across Envy and the reviews here on CitySearch I was very skeptical. Twenty-four different reviews, not one negative? Is it even possible to put 24 women in a room and have them NOT complain about something?! (Just kidding ladies!) Based on these reviews I gave them a call. I spoke to Sheila on the phone and she was kind and patient with my "no I really have no idea at all" questions. A first impression great enough that I made an appointment for a cut for a few days later. Lots of parking at Envy, something I appreciate and the waiting room is large with lots of seating. I met my stylist - Lynn and showed her what I was interested in. She took a look at the photos and a look at me and promptly suggested a different style of cut, explaining why she felt the one I chose would be the wrong way to go. 45 minutes later after much discussion we settled on something and got started. I haven't kind enough words for Lynn. Talented, personable and very easy to relax around - I, quite frankly, have never had such a positive experience in a salon. The cut wasn't what I expected to get that day, but the sheer number of comments and positive reactions I've received are proof-positive that Lynn knew exactly what she was talking about with her recommendation. I very often don't return to salons - price, attitude, general atmosphere tend to turn me off. But I WILL be returning to Envy and to Lynn, a find this good shouldn't be taken lightly. Here I am, reviewer #25, and another 5 star for Envy. Take it from a salon skeptic, if you need a new salon, look no further.

From the moment I walked in the door for my consultation, I felt at home. I didn't have an appt., but wanted to have someone look at my hair and see what could be done to make it look better. I was greeted by Cassandra. We chatted and I immediately made an appt. for 2 days later and after a few hours of work (full head of foils), I went from a one-dimensional, too dark, over-dyed haired girl to having the most beautiful honey highlights I could ever hope for! So far, my husband and 3 other people who know me, each at different times, told me that i look at least 10 years younger and all thanks to Cassandra and her hair magic!!! I recommend Envy and Cassandra to everyone and anyone!!!!
