Great food, great location, great atmosphere.
We went tonight, before a performance at Trinity Rep. We were early, at 5pm. The restaurant staff was busy helping to set up for the free Movies On The Block, next door, so our server got somewhat sidetracked, initially. Once he was done with that, our service was fine.
The Fruit and Cheese Board was a perfect starter and was more than we could finish. The berry, pear, apple choices were paired with just the right cheeses. I had the Tomato Basil Panini, wonderfully crusty. My companian had the Tazza Cuban. She really enjoyed it - it was meaty and the sauce served on it was a great compliment.
We chose to have our sandwiches with salads. The house salad was flavoful and not wilted, but was also not crisp. We were served a bottle of water, but had to ask for ice. On a very hot day, attention to these details might have scored them a 5 stars
We passed on any deserts or drinks and had dinner for 2, for under $40. We will be back !

Breakfast, Lunch, Drinks& a lot more.
I've been to Tazza many times for breakfast and lunch and occasionally at night for many of their live music events. By day their food is great and most of the time their wait staff is very attentative. whether you go there alone or with friends to eat, drink or check out one of their music venues it's a great New York style cafe / club in the heart of downtown.

Good Coffee, Mediocre Food, TERRIBLE Service.
If you're downtown, Tazza's really your only option for a cup of coffee if you trying to avoid corporate mega-chains. Too bad the service is basically offensive. The owner and manager are both great: friendly, attentive, and quick. But the rest of the bozos serving joe pretty much all hale from the dregs of the earth: slow, rude, and weird. Is the coffee really worth it?

One Of The Best In Providence.
This is my favorite bar/club in Providence. I usually go every weekend. Try to get there early (9:30-10:00 pm) to get a seat on the super comfy couch. The waiters are very nice and very prompt. Their food is not the greatest but the drinks are delicious. One of the best in Providence. The best part is Tazza's atmosphere - there are usually live bands playing (alot of jazz) and in the back of the bar a huge projector which is playing movies on the back wall. If you are waiting for your drink. Look at the bar very carefully. You will find a surprise right underneath ur nose!
Great place to go with co-workers after work. Very chill and relaxing place.

Good drinks, avoid the pizza..
The decor is really nice and the bartenders are able, great coffee too. They have live music and everytime I've gone there the music was so loud you couldn't have a conversation and their food is pretty bad. All in all, if it wasn't so loud it would probably be a really cool place.

Very friendly staff, but not annoyingly so. It's a good place to relax, go on a date, or catch up with friends over lunch. Extensive coffee/tea/drink menu, and you have to try the chicken panini!

At least Once.
Stop in at least once. I love that this place boasts city life at its best. There's live music, great tea, excellent hot cocoa, the panini is yummy. It's good with a couple of friends, a date, an in between things to do stop or a time at the bar. There's no parking... but that's Providence.
