Delicious Irish Breakfast Eatery. My husband and I recently happened upon this hip breakfast eatery and found it to be delicious. The service was very good. The breakfast drink selection was great with many options other than standard coffee and juice however the coffee was delicious as well. There were many traditional breakfast fare options as well as some different options for east coast standards such as breakfast burritos or Rashers and Black and White Pudding. I am not Irish but kept picturing myself among all the Mic's in the Green Isle. It was fabulous and I am planning my return.

Fantastic Eggs Florentine!. I must admit that I am a "tough sell" when it comes to restaurants. Due to the fact that I was a waitress for many years and have worked in some great restaurants, I find myself critiquing everything about a place. It is not often that I leave a restaurant saying, "Wow! That was great!" I did, however, leave the Corner Cafe saying just that. I had the Eggs Florentine for my breakfast and it was phenomenal! The eggs were perfectly poached and the Hollandaise was delicious! I even liked the breakfast potatoes which usually remain untouched on any of my breakfast plates due to the fact that they're usually flavorless and dull. My dining partner had the sweet bread french toast which was delicious! The bread was still fluffy inside and the cinnamon butter that it came with was to die for. This is my new favorite spot!

Good Restaurant Gone Bad. I've dined at the Corner Cafe in the past and found it to be a warm friendly place with good service. Unfortunatly, that was the past and not what I recently experienced. Although the crowd was lite, our order took an hour and the food was not worth the wait. I had the Portabella Mushroom wrap that was very mushy and my salad was warm (probably from sitting under the warming lamp too long). The service was the biggest disappointment. What should have been a pleasent family outing turned out to be an exercise in frustration.
