Tips for Tranquil Waters

October 23, 2012

I'm not exactly typical of the average spa client. But June and her whole staff treated me well and made me feel very comfortable in the spa. I got everything I expected and more. I would recommend Tranquil Waters to anyone.

Tranquil Waters. The best!. I love Tranquil Waters! When I first walk in to the spa I got a worm, calming, relaxing feeling, The environment helps take away the stress of every day life. It's a pleasure to spend time there. Every one is very nice and treat you with so much worm. The owner (June) really makes you feel at home!

Hightly recommended.

Overpriced Facility with RUDE Owner. The owner claims her prices are higher then other spas because Tranquil Waters is a "high class" spa. Don't be fooled. A higher price doesn't mean a better product or service. I received a bad haircut and color and a so-so facial. To make matters worse, the owner was demeaning and rude to employees and customers alike. I felt so bad after she yelled at the nail tech, I had to give her a very big tip.

The employees seem to be terrified of the owner. How awful for them.

Outstanding Stylists!. I've been going to Tranquil Waters to have my hair done for over four years now. I've seen a few of the different stylists there through the years, but none have compared to the woman doing my hair now! Her name is Mary. She is a true gem! She knows what it means to have a Spa experience for the client in her chair. She takes her time and listens to what I want. I have never had a more relaxing experience, and such a wonder hair dresser.

Thank you Mary!

Relaxing Wonderful Day!. My sister and I frequent Spas quite often. We live near Makeovers, and use to go there, but have been hearing a lot about Tranquil Waters. I called rather last minute, to see if I could get in with my sister for multiple services, and kind of spend our "girls day" together. The Owner, June, was so helpful, moving things around, and really making our day extra special! I would like to thank her and all the wonderful staff there. Our lunch was spectacular, served by a very handsome Professional man, and I can't wait until we go back again!

utterly ridiculous. Let me just start by stating that I am a licenced cosmetologist in the state. I work in a very nice salon and I am fully aware of the expectations people have when they enter a salon/spa. Our job is to make the salon/spa experience pleasurable and relaxing.

On that note, I want comment on TRANQUIL WATERS.

I have a sister who recieved a gift certificate to this so-called spa. She is scheduled to hav a c-section tomorrow and thought a pedicure would be a nice treat for the day before. She went in for her appointment but didn't think she could sit for the long apt because she fell the day before and was sore(and 9mths pregnant) and asked to have a shorter pedicure instead. The owner of the salon refused and charged her for the whole pedicure $65.00 even though she did not recieve any service at all. Her gift certificate was for $55.00 and June(the women she dealt with) charged her an additional $10.00 in cash. I am appalled that a spa/salon would take such advantage of ANYONE nevermind a very pregnant women. This to me is WRONG and complete abuse. The salon I work for would never mistreat the clients that walk through the door. I hope people can relate to this situation and refuse to support this womens income seeing as what she does is unprofessional and immoral. We work hard for our money everyday and she takes it from people who decide to reach into their pockets and treat themselves. Save your money and find another place to visit. Tranquil waters is not worth it. I would rather sit on my couch and have my 3 year old paint my nails than subject myself to such mistreatment.

Worst hair salon ever.. They trained a 19 years old on me but charged the normal $200. It was supposed to be a haircut and highlights and to be done in two hours. It took three and a half hours for an orange color and horrible styling. Don't ever go there.

Beautiful Spa Experience. I have been to many Spas throughout the world. I travel extensively for my work requirements. I was very impressed with the serenity, the quality off the staff, and thoroughly enjoyed my experiences here. I will definitely be returning when I visit my sister who lives in the area.

BEST CHRISTMAS PRESENT EVER!. My daughter use to go here all the time, then she moved to LAS Vegas. She got me the Spafinder for Christmas, and told me to only use it at Tranquil Waters. She said it's still the best Spa she's ever been to, and that includes the ones she found in Vegas. I went for my Christmas present. I have to tell you, I have never received such a wonderful Christmas gift! I had such a wonderful time! Everyone is so helpful, they taught me a lot about my skin. I didn't realize what I have been missing all these years.I pre-booked all my next appointments, and I can't wait to go back.
