Worse experience EVER!!!!!.
Went last night with a groupon 1/07/2012. Arrived at 6:30 and was told that there was a 15 minute wait. Did get a seat in around 15 minutes. We overheard the hostess tell other customers that the kitchen was behind. So we did think we may need to wait a little for our dinner. When we sat down we put in our order for our drinks and appetizer right away. Our drinks came right away but our appetizer took about an hour. While waiting for our appetizer we told the waiter that we were going outside for a minute. When we came back our drinks and utensils were removed from our table but our appetizer was delivered. Had to ask for our utensils and drinks back. A waitress stated that she thought we walked out. The owner of the restaurant was standing in the doorway of the bar (about 20 feet from us) watching the football game and didn't seem to care what was going on. Our meal seemed like it took for ever. After our appetizer was served new customers arrived around us. Both of those tables had received their appetizers and their meals before we got our meal. The person with me was clearly upset and was complaining loudly but the owner just walked away and sat down at the other end of the resturant. We were so frustrated that when we were about to be served our food at 8:45 (we arrived at 6:30) we asked for our food to go. When we got home the order was wrong, no sauce on the pasta, veal and chicken clearly over cooked. I would never return to this restaurant. There are far to many great restaurants around to go back to this one.

THIS MESSAGE IS FOR THE OWNER DAVE WHO IS HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL IN HANDLING UNSATISFACTORY EXPERIENCES IN HIS RESTAURANT AND WHO PROMISED A GIFT CERTIFICATE OVER 3 WEEKS AGO BUT NEVER RECEIVED SO I ASSUME THAT IT WAS NOT TAKEN SERIOUSLY ENOUGH AND HAD NO INTENTION OF MAILING IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!
I saw an ad in the Coventry Reminder for fish & chips 2 for $16.99. It was our first visit and we dined on a Friday night at 8pm and upon entering were told that the kitchen was backed up and that we could not be seated for 15 minutes even though we could see several empty tables available. We were seated next to the kitchen in the back of the restaurant. It was incredibly noisy. We ordered clams casino, bowl of white clam chowder and fish & chips. The appetizers and soup was OK but the entire dinner was cold, oily, and soggy. The waitress never stopped to ask if everything was satisfactory. So at time of bill I mentioned to her how terrible the fish and chips were and she said "you have a coupon" when I suggested that it be taken off of the bill. SO! I asked for a manager and to my dismay I was told there was not one on staff that night and she had no authority to do so. It was like pulling teeth to get the name of a manager or owner from her. But finally she mentioned a name...Dave...owner...I presume and we asked for a copy of the bill of which she rolled her eyes. I called immediately the next afternoon and spoke to Dave to explain the situation and he said he was not made aware of the situation. I asked that I be credited for the fish & chips to which he replied "I cannot do that but a gift certificate would be issued and mailed. 2 weeks went by and none received so I called again to which he replied that he would talk to his manager. It has been 10 more days since our conversation and nothing. Needless to say, I WILL NOT BE DINING AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN AND WILL BE POSTING ON FB, telling all my family, friends, and casino workers who live in the area, providing poor rating comments on ALL RI DINING WEBSITES for the horrible experience and unprofessionalism of this restaurant. WORD OF MOUTH can make or break a business in today's tough economy. I HOPE THEY ARE OUT OF BUSINESS SOON!!!
