Horrible Service

Although the food here was good, the service was absolutely HORRIBLE. We arrived on a Sat. night, at 7:30 pm, and were given a 20 minute wait time (we were excited about this). During our wait, I was able to slightly overhear a conversation with another patron and the management. This woman was complaining vehemently about the service, and the lack of the restaurant's response to her complaints. Although I couldn't hear everything, it did end with a "You'll be hearing from my lawyer." After 55 minutes, and several "check-ins" at the desk, we were finally shown to a table. As we passed MANY empty tables, we saw bread and water on these tables waiting for guests. At our table, no bread...no water. Neither were ever given to us. Since we had plenty of time to wait, we ordered right away. We were excited when the salad came out right away, of course, by now, it was already 8:40 pm. Our entrees didn't arrive until 9:30!!! No real apology was given. The food tasted great, but two hours after arriving, I wasn't hungry anymore. Excuses we heard were "there are several large parties here tonight"...which is a load of you-know-what for a restaurant that serves family style and caters to big parties. This place isn't worth it.

best dog races in rhode island

Let me just say first off - I love dog races and always have. My dad took me to the track when I was really young and got me into it that way (believe me, there is skill involved with the bets!). I have been to plenty of dog tracks all across the country and Twin River is definitely in my top 3. They just renovated their gaming area and added on a huge section for even more stuff like food, clubs and more games. I briefly checked out the games and they were good. I'm not that into slots though, but if I was I would have been in heaven (they have plenty of them to go around, haha). Unfortunately they still haven't renovated the dog track area, but I heard that they are going to very soon. From the looks of the rest of the place, I imagine that once it's finished, Twin River will quickly become my favorite greyhound racing spot.

Definitely a good time!

My girlfriends and I went down to Twin River the other weekend... we had one of the best times ever! Great energetic crowd and there were tons slot machines and many gambling games to choose from. It was a really good time!

What we were impressed with was all the entertainment they had going on. There are all these different clubs and bars that have shows going on all the time! Great bands and comedians are there like every night... we just bought tickets in fact to KC and the Sunshine band!

Tons of bars and GREAT restaurants too!

Seriously can't wait to go back... it was the most fun we've had in ages! Good food, great entertainment-- loved Twin River!
