First time we went there the buffet was great but the waitress was lacking in understanding English. Plus she made us wait for the utensils and she forgot the drinks. We had to ask another waitress for them. Second time, the buffet was lacking, there were a lot of empty spots, the soup was very salty (and believe me, I like it salty), very dissapointed. They should have a menu survey on the tables for people to fill out about their experience.

Pros: cheap

Cons: lacking food , limited desserts, poor service

I went to the buffet with my wife on a Monday night...After paying and getting seated we went up to check out the stations...The salad bar is a joke...maybe 4-6 things to choose from...so not a winner with either of us. Next we checked out the soup and chowder...both were empty and just some unsightly pieces of chowder lining the sides of the pots...totally gross. Potato pans were both empty...but we were assured they were making more...Why wouldn't you have back-up already made? We actually finished eating the little bit we did find at other stations before they ever appeared. The bread and rolls were hard like they had been out all day...you would have needed razor teeth to even try to bite into them...very unappealing. When the waitress asked how everything was we told her how unhappy we both were...she said well you came in on a slow night...What??? Shouldn't you still be prepared on any night to feed your paying customers? We were very disappointed and will never return...We actually make sure we eat before going there now to play.My wife actually complained also to the manager and was given almost the same poor excuse from him. A definate thumbs down from us. And we have actually heard the same poor results from friends who have gone there too. They need to get some tips on how to run a buffet from Foxwoods...At least they have many choices and the food has always been great there. Too bad...it could have been a good little buffet if it was run better and better food choices

Pros: None

Cons: Don't waste your time
