Not the best experience. Hi I'm writing because I was very disappointed in the service. From friends I had heard good things so it was to my surprise that it was not the case for me. I was so looking forward to eating there too..

On Friday Nov. 26,2010 me and my husband had gone to see the Rockettes it finished at 4PM. We and there were some other people who also went to have a bite to eat. Now they only opened at 5 but they were going to seat us at 4:45. Now we didn't have reservations but the host put us in with no problem. Me and my husband said we want to eat in the dinning area and he did not say we couldn't he said it wasn't ready yet and we would be seated at 4:45 but we could wait in the bar area. Me and my husband first decided to go for a walk while we wait but it was cold so we soon came back to wait in the bar area until our table was ready. So when we came back there was no host or anyone at the entrance so we went in and sat at a table in the bar area to have a drink before our table was ready. At first no one came around which was fine because we were waiting for 4:45 to eat in the dinning area. Now there were people who had came in at the same time we did who wanted to sit in the bar area were there and when their waiter came to take care them, the waiter then came to our table and we told him we were just waiting until our table was ready. He then went to check on it to see if we could get seated. he then came back and said we had to eat where we were and we were like that was not what was told to us, we would wait until 4:45. Then a few minutes later another waitress came to take our orders for drinks we gave it to her only because that was why we were there while we waited to be seated. Well not too much after that a another hostess came and informed us that we had to eat where we were because we had just made these reservations now and the dinning room was full. Which by the way was not true because one we had passed by after at 5 and there was room and it was 4:45 and the dinning room was empty when we were there. So sadly we left because we had asked for the other side and there was no problem when the first host who took down my name it was fine then all of sudden we couldn't according to the second hostess. So to me the host and hostess didn't know what the other was doing because with one it was fine no problem and with the other one there was a problem. One that is not professional and two not organized. I'm sure that is not always the case I would hope, especially since at that time it was not busy at all and to be treated that way is just not right I do hope this gets addressed so someone else doesn't get treated the way we were.

Great for special occasions. I took my sister there for her birthday before going to see a show at the PPAC for a show. It's located conveinently nearby and the food was incredible. Everything that was brought to the table was excellently prepared. The staff was very friendly and really completed the perfect dining experience!

Great food. I highly recommend the fish tacos! My food was amazing and the portions were big. Excellent service and cool decor. There seems to be a fusion theme with the food. My friend's meal had an Asian theme- Salmon and noodles with seaweed salad. My tacos came with a ton of sides. Our meals were inexpensive and satisfying!

Fantastic Dining experience. Aspire is conveniently located on Westminster st in the hotel Providence. The restaurant has a very cool modern look to it with an extremely friendly staff! Also the menu has a lot of different offerings and the portions are huge. The food tasted great and I highly recommend the seafood, especially the salmon!

Editorial Review. The Hotel Providence's stylish in-house restaurant serves modern American food with a special emphasis on regional ingredients and cuisine.
