wow!!!. as a native of providence and frequent world traveler it was refreshing to come home to this place!! i have been out of the country since jan. 2005 and returned to hear of a new place in good ole federal hill. it was siena and word was that it was the new hot place. so i went a few weeks ago with some colleagues on a saturday night. i must say i was impressed! the bar was great as were the two bartenders. both engaging yet professional and poured great drinks. guess i can't ask for more in a bar, right? well after a couple drinks the table was ready, the hostess was very polite and the waitress was well versed and very comforting. through my travels i have learned that both food and service are equally important to a quality dining experience and this they achieved beautifully. the food was great as was the wine service. even the valets were charming! definitely plan to return once or twice before i head abroad yet again. well done siena.

Gret Place. I recently took my sales team out for our annual Holiday Dinner. I had never been to Siena but it came highly recommended. It was absolutely terrific. From the food to service to the valet parketing, everthing was perfect. We started with appetizers for the table. The owner suggested the calamari tossed with balsamic reduction and their rolled eggplant. Both were terrific. After appetizers, I had a caprese salad. It looked so good that I didnt want to eat it. Finally, I finished with sauteed shrimp served over risotto

and with a vegatable puree. It was to delicious. (Not very low calorie!!) I am not sure about dessert because I was too full but they looked very. What really struck with me was the warmness of everyone in the restaurant (valet, hostess, server and even the owner!!). They made you feel specials and welcome. I will definitely be back and strongly recommend Siena.

Fantastic!. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Siena Restaurant in Providence Rhode Island. When I walked in the door, I was promptly greeted by two smiling hostesses. I unfortunately did not have a reservation, but they offered me a seat at the bar while I waited a short 15 minutes for a table. Just enough time for a delicious cucumber martini. It was unique and refreshing yet sweet. I was then escorted into their tastefully decorated Tuscan dining room, where I received impeccable service. The caprese salad was light, fresh and delicious, and my filet special was to die for. If you ever get the pleasure of dining at Siena, please do not forget to order dessert! The fried dough dessert is topped with cinnamon sugar and topped with vanilla gelato and warm nutella- a crowd pleaser for sure. In short, Siena offers delicious food and excellent service.

Excellent Bolognese, make a reservation. Siena has excellent food. Their Bolognese is awesome. This place is always busy, so if you want to eat there on a weekend, make reservations in advance.
