S. Howard Bus Company Has Belligerent bus driver, and company owner lies.. Old Man bus driver picks up deaf child in Fall River, and lays on his horn every morning (twice for about 3-5 seconds each). Then, he gets angry and yells at you if you ask him nicely to please not do this. This went on for months until finally enough people complained about it, and hopefully now the problem is resolved.

Except one problem...

The bus company's owner decided to switch the story around and say that the deaf child was LATE for the bus every morning, and that this was why his old man bus driver was laying on the horn. NOT true! All of us witnesses noted that the kid was always on time, and maybe late once or twice over a series of MONTHS. And yet, STILL, the old man insisted on disturbing the peace EVERY morning at 7 a.m. AND 3:30 p.m.

We couldn't sleep through the morning because it was so loud. And the guy wouldn't stop, no matter how many people complained. He seemed to get pleasure out of doing this.

Finally, we think we may have resolved the matter by calling the mayor's office and filing a complaint. Hopefully it will end, because it got to the point where many residents were going to file a petition (I'm not sure if they actually did or not).

Shame on Howard Bus Company for allowing this to happen, and for lying and saying that the kid was at fault. This upset the kid's parents greatly, and caused a whole mess. I hope that bus driver gets fined for doing what he did. And I hope the bus company itself will change its ways and work on their customer service skills.

Mass General Law (Chapter 90: Section 16) states that "No person operating a motor vehicle shall sound a bell, horn or other device, nor in any manner operate a vehicle so as to make a harsh, objectionable, or unreasonable noise..."

This old man was totally wrong, as clearly the child was fully ready every morning. We could see the kid coming out of his house, and yet...the old man didn't care and STILL layed on his horn TWICE.
