Perfection at its best!. My husband and I couldn’t be any more pleased with how wonderful our wedding reception room looked. From the linens to the Chiavari chairs, the compliments never seized from our family and friends. Throughout the entire process from the ordering of the linens to designing our invitations, we were very pleased with the overall experience of the planning of our special day at The Perfect Setting. Thank you so much for helping to make our reception absolutely stunning. The linens were wonderful and I feel like they really brought the whole room together. Your creativeness and attention to detail was beyond what we had ever imagined. Based on the excellent service we have received from Felicia’s, I would recommend them to anyone who wants nothing but the best for their special day! Kim and Marcie are experienced and talented at what they do and I fully enjoyed working with them.
The best in linens, chavari chair rentals & invitations!. The girls at Felicia's are awesome! I felt awful that all of their great reviews were hidden and replaced by terrible ones, and wanted to make sure that the rest of the brides in the Southeast New England area know that the girls at Felicia's are the best that there are. They are incredibly creative; with only an idea of a color scheme, I walked out with save the dates, an idea on beautiful invitations, and a package for linens & chavari chairs - which the price could not be beat. I've been referred to them by friends of mine who have been married and used the girls' linens, and when I went into the showroom, they treated me like an old friend. They've been a family business for somwhere close to 12 or 13 years, and I could tell that they have pride in what they do. I hope that the other reviews don't deter you from visiting & using Marcie & Kim - they are the best at what they do!
THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CHAIR COVERS. Hello My fellow brides, I am having my wedding this year and the chair covers and tablecloths have been by far the easiest part of the planning process. My reception site Quidnessett CC recommended this place to me and at first I was hesitant because it was all the way in Fall River (yes I am a true rhodeislander). I had no idea what I wanted so they met me at the country club with tons of choices...and it didn't cost me any extra. They picked out the most beautiful combination for me. And yes their contract is very detailed...but I am very comfortable that they are a REAL company and even provide a contract. The girls there are awesome!!!!
LOVE THEM. I admittingly call myself bridezilla... if it was not for the girls at Felicia's my wedding would have been a complete disaster!!! I began my wedding planning in 2008 and did not even know where to begin!!!! I walked into the showroom in Fall River and before even booking a single service with them they gave me all different recommendations for people they have successfully worked with... With no strings attached I spent numerous time at their location. After viewing all of the invites they have (like 30 books...omg) they walked me through this process. I ended up getting invitations that looked like I spent thousands for only a fraction of the cost!!!! My next step was my decorations...another difficult decision based on my bridezillaness!!! They had so many different choices for those as well. Pink Green who knows. They set up about 5 different tables before yes I found "THE ONE". The contract was a little longer than I expected but after going over every little detail line by line Kim answered all of my questions. I was definitely happy to know that I could trust everything about the business. Well...I was married August 15 2009 and I have to say that I would do it again and again just so I could work with Kim. My wedding was the perfect day I could ever ask for. The tables made the whole room... I do still visit them monthly...just to say hello and they still give me the same warm feeling from the first time I stepped in.
Bad customer service and horrible contract. I ordered my invitations from Felicia's and was very happy with the results. I also ordered sashes and table clothes for my reception. An hour after ordering the table clothes I had a change of mind and just could not justify spending $25 a table. I called to cancel my order and they refused. I ended up losing $500 in the process. While they may have been technically right that I had signed a contract for the table clothes, you might think that they would show some customer service skills and cancel my order. Especially since when I called to cancel they had not even faxed in the order to their linen provider! Even without the table clothes, I was still spending a lot of money on the sashes and invitations. They are nice as can be until something does not go their way. I would stay away. It was disappointing because all of my other vendors were so helpful and considerate to deal with.
WATCH OUT FOR THE CONTRACT.
Watch out because their contract will add another 50% onto the fee if you are not totally aware of the details. For example, you must give them 15 days notice of the number of table there will be at the event. Most RSVP cards have a deadline of 14 days before, then the totals and seating plans need to be made. If a correction is made after the 15 days, then the customer is made to pay the full, original amount (We contracted for 25 tables, then corrected it to 20, 10 days before and had to pay for the additional 5, eventhough the linenes were never delivered to the event site). Also, if there is any damage done, then the replacement cost is 10 times the cost of the linen.
Be very aware of their contract - and stay away. It's better to deal with another rental company, or be aware of the conditions of their contract. They will take your credit card number and charge your card after the event, so you have NO ALTERNATIVE.
I truly believe them to be a company to stay far, far away from. They are much too inflexible and unreasonable to deal with.
They definately specialize in Fabulous!. When I was referred to Felicia's by several friends I remember I almost did not go because of the drive (true Rhode Isalnder showing here). It was the best thing that I have ever done. At 39 I wasn't exactly looking for that dream wedding we all think of in our youth but I did want something nice. I was helped by one of the owners, Marcy. I am happy to say she was like my own personal wedding planner. She helped me with everything from invitations, favors, all my accessories and linens to gifts for my rather small but wonderful wedding party. Dwayne and I were paying for the wedding ourselves and although we make decent money a wedding is quite an expense. Marcy found ways to keep the prices down but the look expensive. If there was something that Felicia's did not provide, Marcy not only gave us the numbers for other services but would help us coordinate with them. Between Marcy and Kim there was nothing we had to worry about. Our day could not have been more perfect! Marcy Falconero is THE must have wedding planner!
Happy Bride. I am so surprised to hear a bad review regarding Felicia's Bridal. I am getting married 9.1.09 and I began planning my wedding the summer of 2007. The girls have walked me through every little step of the planning process to make my day less stressful. They were highly recommended from my florist, reception venue and at least ten of my closest friends. The first time I entered the shop I was completely overwhelmed and they made me feel so comfortable. Not to mention their prices are so reasonable in comparison to other places. I read the previous review and after comparing linen prices to everyone else $17.00 for an overlay is practicly FREE!!! I have attended so many events that they provided the linens and not one complaint from anyone I know. They ordered linen samples to match the girls dresses perfectly. My invitations are all picked out, thanks to their expert opinion and are cost ing me less then if I made them myself (and they will look alot better too, lol). I would never chance online shopping for the most important day of my life... when they take care of everything for you. Not to mention that they are so experienced it is like having a free wedding planner at your fingertips. I would recommend them to anyone!!!
Avoid at all costs. My wife and I were drawn to Felicia?s by their low prices, but we soon learned that ? as the saying goes ? you get what you pay for. After purchasing our invitations there, my wife returned to look at table linens and chair covers. Kim, the owner, wasn?t in the store that day, and no one else would give us a quote. So Kim called later that day to quote us an amount, and to record our information for the rental contract. She asked for a credit card to hold the reservation, so my wife told her to use the one they had on file, with the understanding that no charge would be made until we had reviewed and signed the contract. This all took place on a Saturday. On Sunday, my wife and I reviewed our wedding budget, and begrudgingly decided to forego the chair covers. Since Felicia?s was closed, I put off calling them until first thing the next morning. When I requested to remove the chair covers from the order, Kim informed me that she would do so, but that she?d have to keep our 50% deposit. My question to her was simply: ?What deposit?? She then informed me that my wife had authorized a charge to my credit card for 50% of the contract amount. My next question: ?What contract?? I politely explained to Kim that there was no contract (and even if there was, I had authorized no such charge to my credit card), but she wouldn?t budge. So I told her that if she would not refund the charge, I would dispute it with my credit card company. At this point, Kim became belligerent, so - true to my word - I disputed the charge, and won. So please ? don?t make the same mistake we did. Don?t be charmed by the low prices. This is a low class operation that should be avoided at all costs.
Avoid at all costs!.
First of all, I made an appointment with the owner and she was 45 minutes late. She finally gets there, and she is unbelievably rude. I had done alot of research for products online. Her prices were almost double on everything I needed. When I asked her about it, she seemed mad that I had asked her such a thing. She didn't believe me, so I showed her copies of everything. She did not know what to say after that. She claims that online vendors are not making money.
Also, her prices on rentals are outrageous! $17 for a table overlay??? Are you kidding me? I ended up going to Delightful Designs and am very happy. They are such a nice couple and they actually care about their customers. I have never written a review before, but the experience I had was unbelievable. Please avoid this place at all costs. I have ordered thousands of dollars of things I needed online. I have not had one problem with anything I have purchased. Felicia's Bridal was the only problem I encountered when planning my wedding.
