Best seafood in southern New England!!. Been eating at Chads for many years now. The service and food are always outstanding. A restaraunt doesn't stay in business over 20 years unless ther doing everything right!!!! The seafood platter is my favorite , just love those fried clams and scallops.
Great seafood.
We have eaten at Chads numerous times and have yet to have a bad experience. The clam cakes are some of the best since Lincoln Park closed||||.
the service has always been excellent and courteous.
HORRIBLE!!!!!. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG...I ordered a seafood platter and what the menu says is over 1 lb of food....well if you are ok with getting at least 1 lb of french fries then order up....RIP OFFFFF!!!!!!!!!!!! my fried clams were burnt to a crisp and were like rocks.....marble sized "bay"scallops were terrible and unbreaded totally. If you like seafood STAY AWAY....your hard earned money in this economy is like throwing it out the window eating here....BELIEVE ME........YUCK AND RIP OFFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This place should she condemed and quit stealing peoples hard earned money.....Oh by the way ....I ordered out.... and when calling the owner to see if she would fix this situation ...when my wife returned the food she met her outside so she wouldnt be seen taking an order back and went in the back door...LOL....OMG NOT BAD FOOD OR SERVICE....YEAH BELIEVE IT!!!!!!!!!!
Chad's Chowder House. Do not go here! This place is a shack lacking any local charm. The chowder is an awful excuse for real New England chowda. Worst of all the service is poor, and the management is terrible. I was really dissapointed..I was hoping to find a new place to love. Avoid the crabcake..you will be on the toilet for days.
