Not Good. Well this is my first review and when I saw that someone gave it four stars I just had to leave a review myself. My family and I started going there years ago and it has consistently gotten worse. To the point where we will not waste any of our money there anymore. The food would be good if it were cooked the same each time you went unfortunately the same plate tastes differently each time you go. The waitresses do not seem to enjoy their jobs. The atmosphere is very dark and i wouldn't say expecially welcoming. I also wouldn't rate it very high on the clean scale. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Some of the Best American food.. Great American food prepared with not so conventional spices and ingredients. The fish was cooked to perfection and the meats were as well. All foods are cooked with Portuguese style spices, which turns foods that we are used to into a wider array of flavors. I have been to The Captain's Place on several occasions without disappointment. It's not a place for a quiet dinner for two. It's relatively small and noisy with a neighborhood atmosphere. Service was top notch and I'll return many times. Very clean and pleasant.
