Avoid this Subway at all cost.
Wow!
I hadnt been to this location in a while.
They have a new look and a new manager/operator.
I was abused from the moment I ATTEMPTED to walk in.
This filthy looking older woman with a moth eaten sweater and wild unkempt gray hair is blocking the entrance while talking to a person leaving. This inconsiderate person wont make way. I have to ask excuse me twice.
Once in, I begin ordering, Guess what? The same woman comes back in walks and behind the counter. I guess the bride of Frankenstein is the manager/operator!
I watch her take a cookie with bare hands from the case and start chomping. I was amazed at that mistake - especially in front of customers.
The girl making my sandwhich is the typical braindead employee you would expect. I had to tell her "tuna fish" 3 times! She then starts wrapping the sandwhich and never asks if I want any vegetables etc.
I say excuse me! Can I put some stuff on the sandwhich? lettuce onions? She says, OH you want stuff on it? (moron)
I then attempt to pay and ask how much the cookies are - she says 3 for $1.30. I say great, give me 3 chocolate chip.
She rings it up and says $9.40 please.....9 bucks?! How much does the tuna cost? - she says 4.00......how much are the chips? - she says 1.00......well I know the cookies are 1.30, how does that add up to 9+ bucks?!
She says OH I thought you wanted 9 cookies! .....NINE COOKIES??? What the...why would I want 9 cookies?
The manager squatting in front of the counter looks up, and nearly yelling, says "Chill out! She made a mistake!"
I reply - WHOA!!!! Dont jump on a customer! Especially when its your mistake!! SEVERAL mistakes!
I told her to keep the food and I would never return - there are SO MANY other places to grab a quick lunch why bother with this abuse?
Ive also written a letter to Subway corporate. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
They will be put of business any day just like Quiznos up the street.
Sandwich chain offers healthy alternatives for diners on the go..
In Short
Subway's health-conscious menu is built around greaseless deli sandwiches--turkey, chicken, roast beef, etc.--made on soft rolls baked daily in-house. Customers pick white, wheat or a specialty bun, name the length, choose the toppings and watch as the sandwich moves down the assembly line. Wraps, melts, salads and chips by the bag diversify the streamlined menu. And despite the bread factor, Subway boasts numerous successful weight-loss stories and low-carb menu items.
