Worst Breakfast. My dad recommended this place. Why? I don't know. Typically I love diner food. This was the worst breakfast I ever had in MA. We ordered the two plus two (two pancakes and two eggs). The blueberry pancakes tasted like salt and flour. The eggs were blah as well. Very disappointing. The food is affordable but as the saying goes, "you get what you pay for."

Service:

As we were looking over the menu, the waitress said she needed to place our order because they were closing soon. They close at 11:30 a.m., and we arrived shortly after 11 a.m.. I've never eaten at a restaurant that actually expected customers to leave when they close. Most restaurants stop serving food at a certain time and wait for their customers to finish eating. We felt pressured to eat quickly and leave. Be sure to get there well before closing time.

Decor:

It's very run-down inside. Expect to see lots of duct tape.

I'm visiting family for the summer in the Taunton area and would appreciate recommendations for good restaurants. For example, I LOVE weekend brunch at Modern Diner in Pawtucket, RI.
