Not a good experience.
I read a lot of reviews of this place prior to visiting and was excited to go. Unfortunately, it did not live up to my expectations.
My biggest gripe was with the customer service. Our hibachi chef was very playful, yelling "SAKE!" and squirting sake from a squeeze bottle into the patrons mouth. It was fun to watch our party enjoy the evening. The chef was also respectful of the people who said "No thanks." After a few sake squirts into my sister's mouth, he went for it one more time. However this time he jokingly squirted her with oil. She motioned for him to stop and he handed her her salad bowl, which was still full of salad, to spit the oil into. She barely had any of her salad and was looking forward to it only now it was swimming in a bowl of oil. After wards I noticed that she had oil all over her silk shirt and mentioned this to the server. She said she would let the owner know. The owner said that they do the oil thing all the time and no one has ever complained. They only offered to pay for dry cleaning -- even though her shirt was clearly ruined. Later the server said that if it was easier they could take $10 off the bill. Now mind you we were a party of 12 with a bill over $500. Come on! They couldn't even comp one $20 meal?!? We were all very disappointed with how they handled this situation.
The food wasn't that good either. My husband's salmon was very fishy. My sister's steak was server undercooked and after she asked him to heat it up a bit more, it was then served overcooked. Myself and another person ordered the chicken. It tasted funny. I'm not sure if it was because it was cooked on the same grill as the fishy salmon, and I'm very sensitive to the flavor of fish. My husband and sister-in-law didn't think it was fishy but they agreed that it did not have a good flavor. Lastly, the sushi was served without soy sauce.
I still prefer Shogun over this place for food.
I will say it's really nice inside though. Definitely feels like it belongs in the city instead of an out of the way strip mall.

Best Sushi in Town.
I don't have enough good things to say about this place!
The sushi- fresh and delicious! Hibachi- awesome, fun experience and the food was exceptional. The decor was very trendy, it felt as if I was transported to a popular restaurant in NYC. The service was also great! Absolutely no complaints- I would recommend this place to everyone and anyone!
