The worst. Price Gouging! Unprofessional.. Please be aware. DO NOT HIRE Mike's Professional Tree Service. Mike is the dishonest, deceitful and rude owner. He was a very busy man, price gouging during tropical storm Irene.

I was quoted $3,000 to remove a large tree that had split in two with half of the tree landing across my yard and the other half still upright. Mike's crew only removed several fallen branches on my driveway that night and Mike told me his crew would be back on Monday or Tuesday. It was dark at that point and his crew was working without adequate lightening which was dangerous. Three days later I spoke with Mike to see when his crew would finish the job. He informed me that the job was done, that the $3,000 was the cost to remove just those branches not the whole tree. "That's all you paid for." INCREDIBLE!!!

I am contacting the Attorney General so that others will not be his next victims.

The comments below from Mike are untrue. The town of West Warwick paid him for 2 trees removed from town property that were in front of my home. The town paid him $4500.00. (Public Record.)

The tree that I wanted to have removed was removed by North Eastern Tree Service in December... Mike NEVER DID THE JOB!!!@!@!!!

Carqueen proved to me that this site is full of fake positive reviews to offset the real reviews. Carqueers last post was 4 years ago bashing a competitor and now he comes out of the blue with everything you need to know about Mike's business policies. Give me a break.

Thank you so much mike for your crews great job cutting down my trees. They are an amazing tree service I would highly recommend them because they are definitely the best tree service I have dealt with, thank you again

I have used Mike's services on two occassions. Their prices are very competitive and they are always prompt and accomodating. I have used other tree services in the past, but now that I've found Mike's I am locked into my Company of choice. Nice to be treated like an important customer. That seems to be lost these days, but not at Mike's. He even offered me a payment plan for these services which I thought was fantastic. Simply put, I had a GREAT experience at Mike's and will be going back. Thanks Guys!!!

Mike called my wife (Stacy O.) twice this morning to harrass her into taking off her negative review from this website. If we receive a third call from Mike there is going to be a police investigation.

Rude on the phone; will not provide an estimate for the job! Leads me to believe he is shady or does not want to be bothered.

Great customer service. I've already called the BBB, and Mike's has a great rating. Worked with me and my insurance company after a storm three days ago, thanks to Stacy O, I asked Mike for a written quote after I gave him the job, and the insurance company was grateful for the prompt service and insurance papers from Mike's Pro Tree.

PS, Mike also explained to me that he wouldn't give me a written estimate unless I was prepared to give him the job. He asked that I get all of my other quotes, and if I was going to go with him, he would furnish me with the written quote. He also explained that due to fraudulent insurance claims (where people would use his estimates and submit them to their insurance companies and then do the work themselves or not do the work at all) a written estimate would be provided at the time of job approval. I can't really blame him. He did a great job for us! My husband just found out our neighbor used him after our job -- same day! Kim--East Greenwich

I want to say thank you to both Mike and his entire crew! I had 5 very large trees over my pool that Mikes removed. They were efficient, professional and came equiped with all the right equiptment. They removed all 5 with a crane and amazing crew. I was concerned being they were so close to the pool but when these guys were done you would have never known 5 large trees came down over that pool. They did a FANTASTIC job. My yard looked the same as when they first showed up minus the trees. If you want a professional job done than Mikes Professional Tree service is the company you should hire!!! Thank you again to Mike, Jeff and the entire crew! AMAZING job guys!!

Had some very large limbs fall from the rain storm that came through this past week. Too large for myself to remove on my own I called Mikes and they were able to break them down with chainsaws and hauled them away. Glad I was able to have someone local and in a timely manner. Thank you.

Mike's Tree Service was recommended by a neighbor who'd used his company a couple of years earlier. Mike gave me a quote within 3 days of my phone call, his price was less than I'd anticipated, and the work was completed the following week. Steve, the foreman, was in complete control of the job and ensured that the 4 men with him were efficient and tidy. Stumps were ground and the large logs were removed quickly. I highly recommend Mike's Service.
