after climbing the dirty old stairs to the top I was greeted by some old tatooed freak dressed like a hillbilly. My waitress clearly didn't care about us, and the veg. lasagna was a frozen Stouffer's entree-LITERALLY. noisy, dingy atmosphere staffed by waitresses 20 years past their prime...never again.
- Pros: cheap and good view
- Cons: 60 yr old fishmonger waitresses, nasty manager

The food is the reason for coming to Salas', and the only reason. In season, there is usally a good wait, and there is a reason, the food is low priced and fantastic. Get the Oriental Spagetti, similar to Lo Mein, but full of flavor, my favorite is the pork. Clam/Lobster Bakes are great too!
- Pros: Fresh Foods, Inexpensive, Friendly
- Cons: , Long waits, Rough bar downstairs
