“Bellissima!”. This place was great and the prices were totally reasonable. The thing that keeps sticking out to me is the marinara sauce. Following the recommendation of our waiter, I was pleasantly surprised by the Veal Loretta. (Famous dish named after the owners mom) The view from our sidewalk seating was great for people watching. An excellent choice for a casual date after a day at the beach!

This restaurant is really memorable for the taste, service, atmosphere and the experience.

Overpriced, Nothing Out of the Ordinary. I suppose Sardella's received such a high review because Newport does not have many Italian Restaurants. I have to say during the winter it is very nice to sit next to the fireplace and eat your meal (which I have) however the meals just do not do it for me. The portions are small and the red italian sauce is too sweet, almost tasting like something you purchase out of a can. The prices can be a bit high (well that is Newport) and when it is crowded it gets really loud. Parking can be difficult especially in the summer.

What amazing food and a great atmosphere. I love this place. We went this winter on a weekend getaway in Newport. The food was fabulous and the service was top notch. We sat right by the fireplace! Great value and romantic to boot!
