Overpriced, Nothing Out of the Ordinary

I suppose Sardella's received such a high review because Newport does not have many Italian Restaurants. I have to say during the winter it is very nice to sit next to the fireplace and eat your meal (which I have) however the meals just do not do it for me. The portions are small and the red italian sauce is too sweet, almost tasting like something you purchase out of a can. The prices can be a bit high (well that is Newport) and when it is crowded it gets really loud. Parking can be difficult especially in the summer.

What amazing food and a great atmosphere

I love this place. We went this winter on a weekend getaway in Newport. The food was fabulous and the service was top notch. We sat right by the fireplace! Great value and romantic to boot!
