Comfortable, casual tavern. We were in Newport for the tennis matches. While walking back to our car we saw a sign in front of Jimmy's. Cold beer, frozen drinks,AC,. The A/C sold us, we were hot, tired and needing a cool drink. We were greeted as soon as we walked in like we were long lost friends. A bunch of people came in, an after beach crowd and walked to an outdoor patio. There was an employee cooking burgers and dogs for happy hour. We ended up staying for a couple of hours. We will be back next time we travel to Newport

free friday buffet. Jimmys is a great place for locals and tourist.The staff is great. Every friday night burgers and dogs on thepatio.Jackie and Bev will take good care of you. Ihave been going there for the last 8years .My husband and Itry other places and always go back. IF YOUR EVER IN TOWN CHECK IT OUT.Tell themVA sent you.Maybeyoull even see me there

Very fun and friendly place. Been going to Jimmy's since summer of 06. Very friendly staff, mostly woman. Pool tables, foosball, darts and fun games. Locals love it. I'm not a local but have been welcomed by friendly patrons. Live entertainment with some great bands. Cover charge sometimes, depending on band. I hang out on the patio in the summer for a burgers and dogs cookout. My favorite place in Newport.
