Go for a drink and the view!.
My headline says it all. Sit outside on the lawn chairs or at the small tables up top and you will definitely have a wonderful experience!

Rip-Off.
overcrowded by day-trippers
focused on restaurant not hotel business
very bad & arrogant service
mediocre food at horrendous prices
no spa, pool or sport facilities
no area exclusively for hotel guest (i.e. in the garden)
obsolete heating & air condition in the hotel rooms in the Inn
rooms are badly soundproofed
grossly overpriced
I felt messed around to paid USD 429 ++ (off-season) for such a bad experience.
If you are looking for a romantic getaway, this might not be the right place.

A+ Great Wedding.
Could not have been any better. Our wedding was held here, and there was a beautiful outdoor setting for the ceremony. Even though it rained, and I was super disappointed about having it inside, the wedding coordinator, Nancy, was just incredible through it all; it is just impossible to feel sad or anxious around her. Holding the ceremony inside the tent was still gorgeous. The reception was fantastic, and the staff saw to it that everyone was enjoying themselves-- even the staff appeared to enjoy themselves! The food- delicious. The tent- gorgeous. The view- incredible. The wedding suite- absolutely beautiful (and they give you cookies, and could I have stayed awake long enough after the wedding to eat them, they would have brought over a glass of milk to go with!!)
I cannot say enough good things! But those are some of the good things. If you have something to celebrate big-style, definitely go here. We can't wait for our 10 year anniversary so we can go back with an excuse to stay there again!

A quintessential water-view hotel with a rich local history..
The Scene
Views of Narragansett Bay dominate this 40-acre property. Whether you're taking a meal in one of the four dining rooms or attending a wedding reception on the Chalet Terrace, you'll enjoy beautiful water vistas. It's busiest from June to October, and is popular for wedding ceremonies and honeymoons.
The Details
This historic property was built in 1874 as a summer home for Harvard marine biologist Alexander Agassiz. Accommodations include guest rooms in the main Agassiz Mansion (cozy, B&B style inn), Harbor House rooms, beach house rooms and peaceful beach cottages. The resort's overall decor can best be described as being ornate without being overly fussy. The mansion's Turret suite is a two-story sanctuary, outfitted with mahogany floors, silk wall coverings and a bathtub that overlooks the bay. Guests and non-guests alike fill the dining room and breezy lawn to sip designer cocktails and enjoy gourmet fare that's made using local, seasonal ingredients.

go to the bank first.
Pricey?! You would have to mortgage your home to eat here. Nothing is worth extortion.

birthday girl.
The restaurant at the Castle Hill Inn is one of the nicest places for celebrations or entering friends. The service is great as well as the food. For after dinner drinks, or for that matter before dinner drinks, sitting outside and looking out over the water/watching the sun set is the best place to be during the warmer weather.

Romance on the bay.
We came to the Inn for our 10 year anniversary and will going back again! It is a very romantic setting, the rooms are beautifully decorated, the bar and sitting areas are elegant and comfortable. The meals were that of the best we've ever had. We are looking forward to going back in Sept.
