Rude office staff

I booked a non smoking room. When I received my confirmation card the room type listed was not what I asked for. I called the Inn and was told that the Inn cannot promise a nonsmoking room."we have no control of our guests that stay the night before you."

I cancelled my reservation and was charged for the room anyway.
