Tower Hill Equestrian

I just wanted to ask why no one ever reported the animal abuse to the authorities?? There are laws against animal abuses and the manager deserved to be prosecuted and the center confiscated! And shame on the horse owners who obviously think a horse is like a bicycle one can use if they feel like it or leave it to rot in some corner (otherwise they'd know the condition of their animal)!
HAS GONE OUT OF BUSINESS
by Beyong The Crossing Stabl at Citysearch
As of July 1, 2010, Towerhill Equestrian Center and its owner/manager Frank Quinn will no longer be in business. The new business will be Beyond the Crossing Stables and over the next year we will be doing the farm over. We will still have trail rides, pony rides, pony parties and horse boarding while we work on the farm.

The WORST Equine Facility
by Jken710 at Citysearch
I used to work at this place for about a month when Frank was in charge, I would clean stalls on the weekend here just to get more equine exposure... let me tell you that this is bar far the worst facility for animals that I have EVER seen.
The horses in lower two barns are made to stand in mud when it rains, the stalls only get cleaned about once a week (I went one weekend and had to clean moldy manure out of a pony's stall), one of the stalls didn't have a light or window (i had to clean it in the pitch black), there were meal worms in a pony's feed bucket (the poor thing hadn't eaten in days) and the "trail horses" are tied to a fence all day long rain or shine and cough constantly.
This facility also offers pony rides that are lead by children themselves... once when I was working there a trail horse got loose and was running around and scared a pony with a small child on it... the little girl holding the pony could control it and so it took off with a five year old screaming on it's back (luckily she didn't get hurt but is probably terrified of horses now)
Needless to say the people there are horrible to the animals and their people skills aren't any better... I never got paid for the work that I did and was treated like manure by the rest of the boarders... I honestly cannot believe that people would pay to keep their horses here... also for any boarders that are looking to keep their horses here i have heard MANY stories about horses being SOLD WITHOUT OWNER'S PERMISSION by the scummy people that work here (including children's ponies).
If this facility has indeed been taken over by someone new I STRONGLY suggest that they change the name and make it known that it is under new management because this place has earned itself a horrible reputation
- Pros: none!
- Cons: animal abuse, filthy, unfriendly, greedy people
Not recommended

From what I heard Frank Quinn had a massive stroke and is out of bussiness (serves him right) and now Bonnie Smith from Smith Bridge stable is taking over the facility. I still wouldin't recommend going there. It's a horrible place with terrible people. Any true equine would stay away. Don't say the reviews didin't warn you!
- Pros: none
- Cons: to many to list
Umm ya don't go here

This has to be the worst horse facility I have ever seen. With my horse riding experiance I have never witnessed a worse facility, well maybe once ... That was an animal cemetar. Frank needs to really pull it together because with these reviews, you won't have very much luck attracting people to ride there.
