Tips for Sakonnet Veterinary Hospital

On the contrary to the tips below, we
were new to the area, and looked all over [read other reviews, etc.] for a good vet service. Everyone at SVH gave us great care & follow up advice as we prepared to travel around the globe. Friendly, thorough service of the highest quality - our owner thought so too!
Many thanks from both of us, to Drs. Picard & Belinsky and everyone else at SVH for all their help getting us ready for travel to our new home in Cambodia. We arrived safely last week after traveling almost 9,000 miles from Providence to San Francisco, to Taipei, Taiwan, and finally to Phnom Penh. It took a few days, but we are now content & getting adjusted to big city life here. Thanks for everything!

Ridiculous. I do not understand why people bring their pets to this god awful place , these people do not care about animals these people care about money and money only ..... I have compared priced with my mother-in-law who brings her animals here compared to where I go and I couldn't believe how much she got ripped of from these people . Never met a animal doctor who cared about animals but in the same breath can ask someone for 500$ minimum just to see their dying dog and anything they do for him is extra ! My vet saw my cat which had a urine infection for the price of a visit 50 $ and for this 50$ I got blood work urine work and 3 options for treatment ...... please people take your animals to someone who cares more about the pets then the money in your pocket !!!!!

Do Not Board Your Dog Here!. The last time they let your dog out to go to the bathroom is 4pm and your dog is not let out again until 6am. That is 14 hours with NO bathroom break. When asked about that, they said that the dogs can go to the bathroom in their run, they do not mind, there is a drain in the run - Are they serious? My dogs are house trained and would never do that! I walked out and would not board my dogs!!
