Great people at Moriarity's! What they promise...they do provide.
I had my acre of land electronically fenced by Moriarity's 1 year ago and it has been wonderful. My Golden retriever, Nelle ran and loves the freedom. She knows the "flags" and really never has to be warned about crossing this barrier. I was surprised how quickly she was conditioned after only one or two 'warning charges" through the collar. For a golden's high spirit, the collar was even set to a very low frequency.
HERE IS THE REAL TEST OF A COMPANY....when my dog had neck surgery for an esophageal tear (she ate something sharp) My vet, who also uses Moriarity's said to call them and see if they could help find a collar for Nelle that would not interfere with her healing process.
Amy answered the phone (so sweet) and she asked the owner about this situation. He is locating a special collar (with a side sensor) and will install a special reciever next to the main one installed in my garage.
I have had veterinary bills that never seem to end....what a wonderful surprise when Moriarity's will NOT CHARGE FOR ANY OF THIS!
Use this company because they really stand by their word. They assured me that they would back me up when I originally purchased this fence and they have been so easy to work with. In this day and age, when someone is honest, fair and has a heart (for my dog Nelle) I had to write this review. You can't find a better system or service in Rhode Island.

I cannot say enough good things about Moriarty's Invisible Fence.
We are so happy we got it and so is our dog Benjamin.
We do not have to worry about him running across the street. I believe if we did not get this installed my dog would not be sitting with me right now. The person that trained him was Lori and she is wonderful.
If at any time I had to call them I had no problem with them. They were courteous and so helpful.
Thank you Moriarty and staff as we can enjoy another great summer without worrying about Benjamin.

They've gone downhill!.
I have been a long time customer of Moriarty's. However, I must admit, in the last 3 years the service has rapidly declined. Trying to contact them directly is an exercise in futility and of course their prices have gone up since they've gone corporate!! I find the individual installers, etc. are great guys, but dealing with the business has made me decide to go with another company. The sad thing is, I have invested a large amount of money in their product (which I stand to lose.) I think it's worth it though!
My advice is this....try calling them or contacting them for service several times before making up your mind. They are eager to get your business, but then you become much less important.
Best Thing I've Ever Bought!. We have a beautiful wooded backyard with stone walls, and I didn't want to block the view with an ugly fence, but we wanted to let our Labradoodle run around freely to play. This fence has been phenomenal. The guys that installed it were great, and the trainors were true dog lovers. They were great with my pup, and she learned in a week where not to go. I would reccommed Moriarty's to anyone looking for a fence. They were recommened to me and I'd like to pass it along to anyone considering an invisible fence. Professional, courteous, and on time. Love em!
All Electronic fences aren't the same!. We had used another brand of electronic fencing at our previous home before purchasing our Moriartys invisible fence at our new home. We had issues with the other brands equipment failing and getting service visits when needed. We had a few friends that had used Moriartys and only had good things to say about the service provided as well as equipment quality. When we moved into our new home and got a new dog, Moriartys was the first call we made. We have no complaints on any service we have recieved. The equipment has never failed once. We did break the wire once while doing some landscaping, but Moriartys came out within a few days to repair it. Our new dog has a bit of a timid personality and the trainers that worked with him were great. They took their time with him and really seemed to have a love for dogs. He trained quickly and respects his boundries. He has never once ran through. I now know that there is only one real "Invisible Fence". Be sure to get a "Invisible Fence Brand". It is a nationwide brand. Our daughter has a invisible fence in Connecticut and she brings her dog up for long weekends and her collar works on our system. It's great!!!!!
Best money we've ever spent!. Great service from the first call to book estimate to every call I have made since. Professional installation and training support was very helpful. We have over 1 acre fenced off and I found the pricing to be very reasonable, it even protects the d-way which is where my dog used to run out before we had the fence. He trained quickly and enjoys his freedom very much. Several of our neighbors have the fence and they all are very satisfied as well. One of our neighbors went with another company because they were slightly cheaper and they have had service issues and even a hard time getting in touch with the company. As the saying goes, "you get what you pay for" . Moriartys has a local office to go to if you need anything, some of these other so called professionals don't even have a office. Purchasing a Moriarty invisible fence was the best money we have spent and I will continue to endorse them and only them! I love my Invisble Fence and so does my dog!
WORST SERVICE EVER - ALL AROUND - DO NOT USE!!.
I have several issues with this company, but what has set me over the top is their inability to honor the manufacturers warranty on the electric fence collar that was purchased on 10/16/06. Issues are as follows:
? Original installation (5/06) was very poor. Wires are still not buried to this day (this is an underground fence)
? Gave the installer knowledge and marked out lines for the neighbors existing invisible fence and the installer still cut their line ? They did not repair the mistake
? Installer did not check the frequencies between the two houses to ensure they did not interfere with each other ? Took 2 notifications for them to come to correct the issue
? Requested a high setting to begin with, installed did not fulfill request, when we called the owner he was very rude and threatened to rip up the system, very unpleasant. ? Owner made adjustment with the understanding that he would not do it again
? Collar purchased direct from them broke in 1/07 would not honor LIFETIME GUARANTEE. Would only offer a discounted rate to purchase a new collar. And again when contacted he was extremely rude, uncivilized, and unprofessional
