buyer Beware!. Worst restaurant I have ever been too.

Customer service is not in their vocabulary!

Food is far from edible. Unless you drown it in their "islander sauce" they conveniently bring to you right away if and when you food arrives.

Also make sure to eat quickly since they push you out to seat other people.

Will never return. Hope others will also not go.

no customer service skills not worth the money. i have been eating here for years and the food has significantly gone down hill along with their service. their turnaround with their employees is extremely noticeable all seem very unhappy and i have heard nothing good about the behind the scenes workings. the last time i tried ordering i was only ordering for myself however on an average order of me and my family we regularly spend anywhere from 80-150 in one order. this particular time because i was only ordering for myself they would not let me customize my order because they are greedy and would like you to spend extra which i have no problem with, but when they call me a liar and tell me i dont know where i am ordering from and i cannot do that i quickly lose my respect. they need to learn to appreciate their customers because decent food thats overpriced isnt what sells! and honestly one star is overselling this place.

Um..Yeah...no.. Honestly, the only good thing I can say about this place is it is one of the only Chinese restaurants that deliver. Otherwise, I would not go out of my way to eat here. The food is quite bland. They do charge extra for delivery. They have gone quite downhill over the years. I haven't gone here in about a year just because they're simply not worth the price.

Adios Islander. Once the best Chinese food in town, the Islander no longer gets my vote. It's become a ''hit or miss' and the management doesn't seem to care when told of the problems. Food has had odors, has not been fresh, has had bad flavor, etc. There have been no offers of replacing meals or re-imbursement...not good for people who visit your restaurant weekly.

The place isn't as clean as once was, and yes, even the menus & untensils are sticky. Packaged sauces when take-out is ordered, are sticky & the rolls are always stale. Don't go there! Goodbye Islander.

Do not eat here!. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone at all. A friend of mine worked there for awhile and i have also eaten there myself. From what i have heard the kitchen is very unsanitary no one wears any sort of glove or sterile objects for preparing food. The food is also very pricey and just not worth it what so ever. Everything i have eaten has made me feel sick to my Stomach its loaded with MSG and leaves you feeling sick.

Never again.. After reading some favorable reviews about this restaurant on this website and on the internet, I decided to try it out. The Islander was spacious, however it did not seem very clean. The tables and the menus were sticky. There was no proper place mats. The waitress was rude and did not have any manners. She kept on mishearing what we were saying. Our orders were messed up.

The General's chicken tasted horrible. It was too sweet and was over fried. There was a hard coating on each piece of chicken from being overdone and there was too much sauce. Not to mention, the sauce was too concentrated. It was pure sugar. It tasted like fried cardboard with a sugar sauce on it.

We were only given a tiny amount of food for the dish, The Islander chicken. A meager amount of vegetable, and an even smaller amount of chicken and shrimp. The sauce was bland and very little.

We also ordered the Kungpao shrimp, which was basically a large amount of vegetables and a tiny amount of small shirmp, cooked in what it seemed like, water. The food was not worth its price, was about $10 a dish.

Not to mention, We were given only two fortune cookies for three people. I would not reccomend this restaurant to anyone. We were very disappointed.

Editorial Review by Christy Buena. Traditional Chinese cuisine is served at the eatery that offers take-out, banquets, and serves ribs, seafood and noodles.

You Gotta Try it. All their food is spectacular. One of the best I have gone to, if you like spicy you have to try the generals tso's chicken. Careful it gave me gas for a week though. I also like the fried rice and moo goo gai pan

Seriously good food!. Many of my favorite chinese resturants went downhill after changing hands over the years, but the Islander has remained the same. Awsome food great drinks and a friendly wait staff!

Still best around.. Few places have remained as consistant, fast, and as good. Always enjoy going back.
