The Scene
It might be the ceiling fans whirring softly overhead. Or maybe it's the retro, chrome diner tables, mismatched chairs and slightly chipped Fiestaware. Whatever makes it feel like home, the transition into morning will be gentle here. Located on a street known for its art scene, this restaurant is so relaxed that no one will give you a second glance if you show up in your pajamas.
The Food
Brickway's menu has a creative edge, especially when it comes to omelets. How about that three-egg Narragansett made with grilled chicken, avocado, tomato and bleu cheese? Traditionalists take heart: There are plenty of classic offerings to go around. Brickway's huge buttermilk pancakes, served in a stack of three with a sprinkling of powdered sugar, cover the plate.

Great breakfast (my favorite is the chicken and avacado omelet - I forget what they call it) with a good variety of choices and very unique blend of ingredients. Good coffee, decent atmosphere, decent service. We had one bad experience when the waitress threw out our leftovers and made a rude comment that we should not have left it on the table, but we have seen gone back and enjoyed breakfast there again. Definitely worth trying.

Brickway is a cute little restaurant that serves breakfast all day. It has a pretty good selection of breakfast foods, and plenty of healthy options. They also have seasonally-inspired daily specials (like pumpkin pancakes in the fall). There can be a long wait on the weekends though so I'd get there early. And don't go with a large crowd because it's just not really set up to handle that.

The menu is fantastic! There are all the right kind of simple and tasty combinations you could ask for in a selection of egg/omelet dishes. You'll have a hard time choosing what you want because you will want to eat all of it. I recommended Sunday brunch, but that's a busy time. If they say your wait time is over 40min I would move on. If 40min or less I would say it's worth the wait!
