Pizza with and attitude:.
Great pizza, great topings & bad karma!
My wife loves it so being the good husband, I volunteer to make the "trek" from Pawtuxet Village to Wickenden St.. Fellini's can't make a delivery that "far away". She called at 4:00 for a pick up @ 5:30., and for the 3rd consecutive time upon my arrival I was told that my pizza would be out in a minute and that would be $25.00 please. I hesitantly gave the person at the counter the money and asked if it was really going to be right out, or would I have to wait 20 minutes as I did on my last visit. His reply was that was not nice, and I told him that nice had nothing to do with it, it was the truth and there was no harm ever stating the truth.
At that point the Blonde woman at the oven, who I assume was the manager, upon hearing our conversation instead of opting to reassure me that in fact my pizza would actually be right out called out in a polite but cocky manor to tell me that if I liked I could have my money back. I took that option, got in my car, called Steve's on Park Ave and by the time I got there my pizza was waiting for me. I paid my $12.00 and brought it home to my somewhat disapointed wife. I told her that I had made my last trip to Fellini's!
I have been in the food business all of my life, owning restaurants, manufacturing facilities as well as distribution and the secret to sucess in business is taking care of your customers. Wake up Fellini's, your crummy attitude will take it's toll.
The Steve's Pizza may not have a thin crust but it was a delicious traditonal pizza with a smile.…
Better than chain pizza. Great BBQ chicken pizza. Has pros and cons..
I recently tried Fellini's after hearing and reading such great reviews. Supposedly it's the best because it's like "NY Pizza" which I've never had except for Domino's(hate it) and Sbarro's in the
mall which I like. I haven't been satisfied with "chain" pizza and was on the search for an awesome BBQ'd chicken pizza.
Pros: Great variety of pizza, Great toppings, Great balance of toppings..the sauce wasn't globbed on with a pathetic amount of cheese, the pepperoni even has some hotness and spicy-ness to it like it should have. BBQ'd sauce was great and shredded chicken was nice. Friendly and fast service, I ordered a "whole pie" and it was done within 15mins. The guy even came outside to get me when it was done.
Cons: The price! It's like $25 for a whole and $3-4 per slice. I didn't like the crust. It was tasteless, no spices or anything. It was paper thin, hard and crunchy. When you get to the end, it gets worse. Big block of thin, hard, crunchy crust. Some other review said it was "burnt"..but that's just how they make it. Kind of like a graham cracker..only harder! They make $25 look like a deal because the pizzas are so huge..of course they're huge, they flattened the dough to death! Other pizzas are smaller and the dough is raised instead of flat.
Can't say it's my "favorite". I'm now torn between this and Casertas. I'll probably go to Caserta's for my $8 basic pepperoni, cheese, bacon and olive pizza and want some dough to chew. And save Fellini's for when I want BBQ'd or Buffalo Chicken. I still think there has to be something better out here. Next I'll try that place in East Greenwich I keep hearing about.....…
HORRIBLE DELIVERY. We have ordered delivery from this place 4 times now and every single time they have gotten the order wrong, brought the food cold or brought it over 2 hours late. If you're going to get food from this place, go there... otherwise, you may never see your food.…
Its GREAT!. The best Pizza we have tasted, the staff is welcoming! The place to be!!
