More like a deluxe playroom than a museum, this space is kid heaven.. The Scene
This 20,000 square-foot former factory is a play paradise for kids. Many murals and exhibits were designed by local artists, among them illustrator David MacAulay, who wrote "The Way Things Work." Your kids may never want to leave.

The Appeal
"People and Pets" features a functioning pet adoption center run by the Providence Animal Rescue League, a real attention-getter for kids who love animals. "Coming to Rhode Island" lets kids up to age 12 play with reproductions of clothing and other artifacts used by four real families who immigrated to this state over the past 350 years. At toddlers' eye level, a wasp's nest, crystalline minerals, and chambered nautilus encased in Plexiglas lead the way to the second floor. At the top, "Shape Space" provides preschoolers with toys for building, including a huge set of wooden blocks.

fun For The Family. This is kid Heaven !

I can bring kids of all ages and they all find something they like .

The WAter Room is the very favorite ...

the one time the kids are actuallly allowed to splash and put their hands in and just Have A Ball with the water !!!

Cute and kept kids happy. Went with a 4 and 6 year old boy and they had fun. There were not enough people around to tell about the exhibits, but the kids enjoyed themselves.
