While the clothing selection is
half-decent, the owner's attitude leaves much to be desired. He was rather rude on the phone when we called about his shop's hours during our travels into RI, and when we finally arrived to his store, he curtly asked us to leave so that he could use the bathroom.
While I respect his need to urinate, he had ample opportunity to do so prior to our arrival with no costumers. He should probably hire another worker, be nicer to potential customers and rethink the effects of his actions on his business as we were more than prepared to spend a considerable amount of money each.

Best goth/industrial/etc clothing in RI and quite possibly all of New England.
Great selection of a wide variety of alternative fashions. I personally favor elegant velvet and lace dresses, and there is never a shortage of these! And of course there are tons of miniskirts, corsets, coats, and anything else you might want.
There's also a great men's selection (rare to find in a clothing boutique like this!). If tshirts are what you seek, the selection here is really impressive...definitely unique stuff you won't find everywhere else. There's also a used/retro section in the back of the store, but really, the main front room is where it's at.
Matthew, the owner, will be happy to help you, explaining more than you could've hoped for about each and every garment.... tell him your style (or, better yet, come dressed in it...) and he'll happily play personal shopper for you, showing you each item he has he thinks you might like (and he's almost always spot-on) that he has in your size. And he'll give you an honest (not salesman-ish at all) opinion on what looks good on you when you try it on.
This store is his love ... and it shows!
So...to sum it up...this is clearly the best place to go clothes shopping in RI if your tastes lean in a punkier, sexier, darker direction! Come late...doors open at 3:30pm, in accordance with the nocturnal tendencies of much of the clientelle :)
