Rude, Ripoff. I'm not one to leave negative reviews, but this place stinks. I met up with a few friends here and got a mixed drink, I think Stoli Rasp and Sprite or something to that effect. It cost about ten bucks, which was fine, but it was sooo weak I all I could taste was Sprite. So I politely asked the bartender to make me another one (again, I'm not one to complain but this was obviously not made right) and he was really rude about it but made me another one and it was just as bad! I'm totally not a drunk or white trash, etc. so I let it go but I left right after that and probably won't go back.

Assume the grandeur of being on the A list while mingling with artsy undergraduates.. The Scene
Adjacent to Cafe Paragon, this beautiful lounge is filled with overstuffed leather sofas, equally plush armchairs and intimate candle-lit tables--all of which are pushed to the side when the club puts on the dance music. Popular with Brown and RISD students, the bar has been known to get so crowded on weekends that the windows steam up. If you want to guarantee a spot inside, you really should plan on arriving before 1am.

The Draw
With an excellent and inexpensive wine list (15 wines available by the glass; 30 plus by the bottle), an extensive selection of bottled and draft beers, and a choice variety of champagne, Viva's clientele certainly loves to drink. For those in need of an accessory, the martini is served in its stylish, mini metal shaker, which unfortunately you cannot take home.
