Best pockets!. I had the chicken pocket - so good! Chicken was hot off the grill and everything tasted so fresh. Now that I work in the area, it will be a regular stop.

My FAVE place ever.... This is a place I used to eat at a minimum 4 times a week. I now live in Vancouver, BC, and I have never found a falafel that comes close. I took my Vancouverite husband there just before I moved, and he could not believe how amazingly fresh and just GOOD their falafels are. I miss chatting with all the guys, and even getting a wave if they saw me walking by. I have yet to find a place that matches it for food, and friendliness here in Vancouver. It is one of my most missed places in RI.

the friendliest, fastest service.. possibly the friendliest, fastest service on thayer st. everything they make is excellent. leave them a tip, they deserve it, and besides you get dessert for free when you do it ;)

Friendly and Tasty. The best place to get a cheap, great-tasting meal in Providence. The service is friendly. They take pride in forging a great service relationship with their customers. I can't say enough about this landmark establishment.

Great food!. The food is really really good and the counter service is quick and friendly. The restaurant itself is small and crowded. It is a favorite for take-out among students and office staff nearby.

Thy need to open more locations ,in every city nation wide.

A Feast from the Middle East. I must say that this place is the best restaurant in Rhode Island! People all over the world say they have the best falafel and they sure do! The service is quick (even if the line is out the door), it's the cleanest restaurant I've ever been to (cleaner than my own house), the food's cheap and great (my fav's the dolma pocket-sometimes with gyro in it), and the guy that works there is so cute - the one with the red hair!!!!

great late night. East side pockets is great for lunch, dinner, late-night, ... anytime. The falafel is great and always fresh. The curly fries beat the regular fries by a mile. The various pocket sandwiches are a great value, though the salads are good too. Not too hungry or just want a snack? .. try the spinach pie or the grape leaves.
