Perfect hotdogs. Best Hotdogs ever! The franks are juicy and delicious. They have a nice meaty taste--assertive but not overpowering. There's a huge variety of sauces and ingredients, so you'll never get bored. I recommend the one with Russian dressing and cheese. The place & service are no frills, but clean and pleasant enough. Other menu options besides hotdogs, including vegetarian dogs. Only con: far too many students, as it's right in the middle of "Brownland."

dont get it. roll is fresh but way too heavy for the contents.place is cramped but clean food tastes institutional.but pretty good for fast food

It's what's between the buns.... I love this restaurant. I go almost every weekend with my boyfriend, and I enjoy it everytime. The hot dogs, themselves, are thicker and meatier than a usual hot dog. The buns are a nice, savory bread that anyone could enjoy. I definitely recommend going to Spikes!!

Spike's is the Best!. Spike's has great food. The service is quick and the food is cheap. Spike's is open late...a big plus!

TAKE A BOW-WOW!. This place is the best fast food in Providence. No qualms with the staff: they do anything they can to get you filled fast. Food's reliable, portions are huge and refils on soda? What else can you ask for? Great break from the junk food norm. PS: Thanks for offering the veggie dogs. Now my roommate can't complain about not finding something to eat. And the delivery's great.

Diggin the dogs!. Spikes has great food as well as a daring decorating that creates a comfortable atmosphere. It's open pretty late at night, and I don't usually like hot dogs, but there is just something about Spikes that rocks the caspah. Anything you would want to put on a dog... they have it. They also serve up veggie dogs. They also make french bread pizza that is pretty good. Service can be a little on the slow side, but that is because they are not serving crappy fast food. Try it!

TASTEY DOGS FOR DOG DAYS. ENJOY EVERY KIND OF DOG TOPPING THERE IS W/ A 100% ALL BEEF DOG LONGER THAN THE BUN! AND WOW CANT BEAT THE CURLY DOG TAIL FRIES. BUT THE JUNKYARD PIZZA TAKES THE CAKE W/ TANGY SAUCE, SMOTHERED IN CHEESE OON A DELICIOUS DOUGHY CRISP ROLL. I LOVE THE CONTESTS AND PICS! AND THE THEME IS VERY UNIQUE! ITS GOT IT ALL!

A Thayer St. Staple. Greasy food, cramped dining area, rude service and often rowdy patrons ... a MUST VISIT Thayer St. staple!

Look past all that if you're just looking for late night, awesome drunk food. Everything about this place screams "college hangout", but that's what Thayer St. is. The entire area is mostly about no-frills, good eats dining.

This place is mostly about the dogs, but check out the steak sandwich too ... big and greasy and perfect late night fare.

On nights and weekends, expect a line.

THIS YOUR LUCKY DAY.... I have decided to give you a second chance at making a better first impression. I absolutely LOVE Spikes at the Cranston and Thayer St. locations, but I just tried the new one near the court house in Providence and am willing to try it only one more time based solely on the quality of the other two. I was so disappointed by the utter lack of attention and courtesy. That low-budget service belongs in the Gutter. Otherwise, A+++ to the 2 others:TOTAL attention to quality service, Thanks, kids, only place I eat dogs. Best fries, too, but SERVICE is #1 .xoxoxo
