Gourmet House - the best asian restaurant on hope st!!!!!. I love the pad thai. They have the best duck lemongrass. ITs BYOB. The service is awesome. I goto this place every week. Better than the place next door. If you dont visit gourmet house then you are missing out. The owner is very kind hearted and a nice man. Hes always smiling at the customers. They deserve your business

I love this place!. If you want to try something a little different, give this place a try. The Thai food (pad thai, nime chow) is so good. There's a chinese lunch combo plate and mooshi that is also amazing. Also, the servers speak english so you can actually ask about menu items you don't understand.

Speedy service, ornate atmosphere and fantastic food make this Asian restaurant a delight.. The Scene
As soon as you step inside the Gourmet House, you should have a pretty good idea of what's on the menu. A walk through the ornate, red main space takes you to the adjacent, remodeled dining room with its booth-lined walls.

The Food
The dishes come from across Southeast Asia (Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia and China). Week after week, the restaurant packs in the local intellectual set, with many more jamming the phone lines ordering dinner to go. Whatever you order, the food emerges from the kitchen at warp speed. Here your fortune cookie will simply say that you'll be back.

Dish to Die For
The shrimp pad thai noodles, (rice noodles with bean sprouts, green onions, lime juice and ground peanuts) are the best in the city.
