Hip, funky, young, and spunky, this is the place for an extroverted sandwich experience..
If you're looking for a place to anonymously pick up lunch, Geoff's probably shouldn't be first on your list. The feisty young staff, usually students from nearby Brown or RISD, is quick to pick up on the vibe if you're feeling particularly shy or meek. Watch out, your order may spark an impromptu comedy sketch.
If you can survive the innocent haranguing, you'll be rewarded with sandwiches so meat-packed that they're difficult to bite into. Creative sandwich names like "The Kiss," "Wacko," or "The Juggs"" practically beg for your selection and psyche to be analyzed. A safer bet may be to simply pick one of the sandwiches named for a local celebrity; try the tribute to the mayor or "The Governor," made with cold turkey and hot pastrami.
Dish to Die For
Try local political favorite "Buddy Cianci," made with Genoa salami, Provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pepperoncini, oil, and vinegar.
