Great location but can be a little snobby.
I have been a client at Coiffurium for 2 years now and still do not like the reception there. The salon is beautiful, I like the products used but the staff is sometimes very uppity. I realize it is a high end salon in Hope Street but there is no reason to snub clients. My stylist is great but on a recent call to make an appointment, I was not able to get the days that I want, which typically is a non issue. I can be flexible. But since I was going away (she was informed) and needed a haircut, she could have referred me to someone else within the team. My appointments are typically a straight forward wash, cut & blow dry. Nothing dramatic. I am sure that it is ok to work with someone else but instead gave me a date after I come back. What good is that? She didn't even suggest someone else within the team. Is that the practice in salons - all clients to him/herself, not team work? Now I have cut my hair somewhere else. Coiffurium may have lost a client

Terrific Customer Service.
I haven't been to the Coiffurium but I called to speak with the owner and both times Megan picked up the phone. She was an absoulte delight, extremely friendly and helpful. Based on this reception I would absolutely consider going to this salon.

Overpriced.
I recently got a trim. It took less than a half hour and I was charged $49. I've been to other high-end East Side salons and received the same service for $35.
