In Short
With its combination of deciduous and coniforous trees, this long, narrow park never goes out of season. A brick-lined path loops around the perimeter and takes you past numerous historical plaques, a square dedicated to the first locally elected Jewish citizen and a small visitor's center that details some of the accomplishments of the park's namesake. (One of Williams' few surviving possessions, a compass, is on display.)
