Canned Food and Flies
by poorfood
My family used to go to Stickyfingers regularly. Our recent visit was a disaster. Poor margaritas served with no salt, canned salsa, Taco Bell-style beef in what was supposed to be a pork burrito, barely warm food, and lots and lots of flies. The murals are peeling from the walls.
Stickyfingers used to be a great, family-friendly restaurant. It now appears to be in steep decline.
- Pros: they were open
- Cons: canned, cold food and poor sanitation
Bring a wet nap...and your liver!

On a wim, my man friend and I tried this place out. The margaritas tasted as if Jose` made them himself, and I should've brought a bib! Definitely worth splitting the combo meals...they're huge, and utterly scrumptious. If you're a fan of meat, and you can eat like a bear, this is the place for you. The jalepeno nachos had a kick like a ninja would, and don't forget flag night where you can shake your booty on Saturday nights! They also have a big TV for sports games which is also a plus. The decor is just like a true Mexican place..with mosaics and everything (including a bison head con sombrero and jack-a-lobs!). For two people with the nachos, splitting a combo meal, and two margaritas each ran for about $61...not bad for great food! Don't forget to go to the Foxy Lady which is conviently located up the street.
- Pros: Great Margaritas, Great BBQ, and a bar tender with one tooth
- Cons: NONE
