Great Authentic Chinese Food. I went here today for the first time in a desperate search for decent Chinese food in the Smithfield/Providence area. Being in RI for college, my experience was only with the places that dropped their menus under my door. Needless to say, they left a great deal to be desired. So I read about this place online and went over with a few of my friends. We got menus and saw that a separate authentic Chinese menu was also available and opted for that. My friends and I really enjoyed the food here and the service was outstanding. I got the Korean Style Ribs which were excellent and for the three dinners and one appetizer the bill was only $41.

great food. This has been one of our favorites since moving to Providence. It may not be fancy, but it is good food with great service.

Best Dim Sum So Far in Providence. Although only the second Providence dim sum establishment we have tried the quality far exceeded that of Phoenix Dragon. Our experience may have been a little biased by the fact that we were the only patrons in the restaurant at the time, so the service was exceptional as was the food. While not comparable to Hong Kong or even Seattle, it is fresh authentic dim sum at a reasonable price.

Over-priced and poor quality take-out.. I can't speak for their Hong Kong Style or their Dim Sum but this was the single worst experience I've had with American style Chinese restaurant in years. The food was over-priced and of poor quality. They served Fried Wanton that was nothing more than Fried dough crumpled up to appear as though it had been stuffed. They then tried to convince me that was all it was supposed to be. I've had a lot of Chinese food (American Style or otherwise) and I've never come across that. They may very well have excellent Dim Sum or Hong Kong style food but I will never know as I will be never returning to the Lucky Garden.

Best chinese food in Rhode Island. This place has very good Hong Kong style chinese food and the best Dim Sum in Rhode Island. I think they also have the American Chinese food but I never try that, I guess it got to be good if they can make good Hong Kong style chinese food.
