In Short
Though the exterior is unassuming, the inside of Haruki offers a quiet serenity thanks to tasteful paper screens that ensure the sights and sounds of busy Oaklawn Avenue don't interfere with the subdued Japanese decor. Seating is limited to a dozen tables and 16 seats at the bar, but the menu is big. Sushi--from maki to sashimi--is the main draw; regulars often branch out to specialties like soba noodles or pork katsu.

Great quality fish, very nice setting. This place cannot be beat for the rolls and the specials. Small setting but great apps and entrees. The Best!

Haruki is. Although sushi can definitely burn a hole through your pocket, Haruki is unforgettable. Good lunch specials. Inventive rolls. Decent sushi. Nothing terribly special about the fish. The salad dressing is great, and they even bottle and sell it.

Absolutely the best sushi in RI. Outstanding in quality, freshness, creativity, flavor, and size. The sushi bar offers a lovely array of appetizers including soups, salads, sushi, sushimi, and many others. I love making a meal by sharing appetizers with a fellow diner. Excellent, friendly service. Fascinating to watch the expert sushi chef (s) superbly preparing your order! Meticulous. Fun, artistic decor, great for a date!
