Delicious food, less-than-attentive bartenders. The service was extremely friendly, prompt, and the food OUTSTANDING. I love this place.

The trouble is that everyone else loves it, too, so there is likely to be a wait time.

A friend and I waited in the bar area to be called, and it took 20+ minutes for the bartender to acknowledge us.

For that reason, the wait was awkward (and thirsty!), but all was well once we got to our table.

Marchetti's Calamari... YUM!. I can't believe I now have that famous Calamari Alla Mama recipe from Marchetti's! It was in the Providence Journal today! For those of you who haven't tried it, you are missing out. That dish and the Chicken Farfalle are just heavenly. This restaurant serves up delicious food, gigantic portions with friendly service. A++++

Best italian in RI. I been going there since i was 10 years old thats 26 years now, Its still my number 1. Food is great, Love the decor and the wait staff is so friendly it feels like im coming home when i walk through the door. Now they added the new patio outside I love it especially on the weekends with the live music. A must try.

My favorite restaurant for the last 15 years. Marchetti's has been my favorite place for the last 15 years. Food is always excellent and the service is above average. I normally come in with my wife or a couple of friends but most recently we had a large party. It went off without a hitch so I had to share my experience. With over 25 people, we had multiple servers attending to us and never once did we have to wait for a drink or anything for that matter. Food came out timely and was delicious. They do a fantastic job over there. Looks like this will continue to be my favorite place for years to come, keep up the good work!

Best restaurant!!. Marchetti's is my favorite restaurant by far!! The food is great, we have been going there for years and always have a great meal. They give such big portions that everyone leaves w a doggie bag!! The atmosphere is great too! Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. My husband loves the bread and they have to fill the basket 3 times for him! They serve it w oil and garlic which is just delicious! I recommend everyone go see for themselves how great this restaurant is!!

If you like rodents. I used to love thos place. Had a mouse in the dining room this evening. Lovely. Did they say "forget the bill"? Nope, not even an apology. I'm not saying a saw a glimpse of a mouse; the wait staff chased it down with a broom and killed it right in front of our party. Terrible, absolutely unacceptable. They offered us a gift certificate. Don't eat here. Its gross.

Terrible service, bland food.... First, when we arrived we were told that the wait would be 10-15 mins., we waited 1 hour! Then our waiter came over with a HUGE attitude, trying to rush us to order (we hadn't even looked at the menu), Our food (I had chicken parm) came out COLD and BLAND. Then we were once again out waiter (KEVIN) tried to rush us out the door, didn't even ask if we wanted desert, which we did, so we left. The service was awful and the food wasn't that great. Get better waitstaff (some without bad attitudes) and stop trying to rush your guests out the door.

I will not be returning!

The WORST customer service ever! AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I had the worst dining experience in my entire life there tonight. The manager had to come to our table no less than three times. Yes they give you tons of food. It's kind of bland and the service just flat out sucks. The hostess is just horrible. Even with a reservation you will wait no less than 1 hour. We had a 6:15 reservation and were not seated till 7pm even though we were told just 10 minutes. Then the waiter was just terrible. Forgot the appetizer, served drinks in a glass with lipstick on it with food. Horrible, horrible. I will never ever return and will tell everyone I know the same. AVOID like the plague!

The best food!. In these tough econmic times this restaurant is still packing them in. You get great quality and great value. Go see why you won't be disappointed. It will end up being your favorite restaurant too.

NOT great food. I have been trying for a long time to see what all the talk is about this place. LOts OF FOOD, not much quality.
