Pulse is no more. When it was good, it was very good and when it was bad, it was dangerous.

The Scene
Undoubtedly the hottest dance club in Providence, Pulse attracts a mixed crowd of club kids, drag queens, and college students from Providence and the surrounding areas. Join the masses and dance to the musical stylings of well-known New York and Boston DJs. A side room with tables provides space to take a breather when the dance floor gets too hot.

While You're There
Pulse regularly hosts "Return of Studio 54" nights, so dig out your leisure suit, don the gold chains, and prepare to indulge your John Travolta fantasies as you do the hustle to music from the '70s and '80s. For those unwilling to give up on Saturday night, Pulse re-opens its doors at 6am on Sunday mornings for a six-hour dance marathon.

Who Knew?!?

In town for a local event, we went to this club and were very impressed. The dance club section is very modern with great sound, lighting and atmosphere and the lounge area is very low key and extremely friendly. At the end of the night we enjoyed an incredible stage show that had the crowd hooting and dancing like mad.

If you're an out-of-towner you'll need to take with you good directions and the club's phone number... but the difficulty we had finding the place is minor compared to the great time we had. It rivals a Manhattan club, but without the attitude! We loved it and so will you. Go have some fun!
